WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
Cubix Corporation LLC (Cubix) warrants all Cubix manufactured products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years for Xpander Series products and one (1) year for all other products from date of shipment from Cubix. Any cable, connector or other part not manufactured by Cubix is limited to the relevant manufacturer’s warranty. Specifically, Cubix does not manufacture external connectors, which have different duty cycles. An optional extended warranty of up to three years is available. Please contact Cubix Sales if you are interested in the extended warranty option. During the warranty period, Cubix will repair or replace defective parts that are returned to Cubix. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished. Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the warranty period or 90 days whichever is longer. All parts that are exchanged under this warranty become the property of Cubix. The warranty does not include on-site repair charges such as labor, travel, shipping or other expenses associated with the repair or installation of replacement parts. Cubix is not responsible for damage to or loss of any programs, data or removable storage media. Third party buy-out products not manufactured by Cubix carry their own manufacturers’ warranties not to exceed three years.
Cubix Corporation offers free support by phone or e-mail Monday – Frieday, 8am-5pm Pacific. Cubix onsite technical support and Cubix onsite installation is also offered as an upgraded on new equipment sales or a separate transaction post sale in Los Angeles County and Orange County. This warranty extends only to the Original Purchaser or Registered End User. This warranty may be transferred to subsequent end users upon request of the original end user. Contact Cubix Customer Service to transfer the warranty.
This warranty excludes products which have been damaged or rendered defective due to external causes including but not limited to:
- Accident, misuse, or abuse.
- The result of an Acts of God, such as lightning strikes, earthquakes, flood, and other force of nature circumstances.
- Installation of products not certified safe by Cubix.
Unauthorized modifications of the Cubix equipment.
Cubix warranty obligations with respect to software distributed by Cubix are stated in the applicable end user license agreement, which is included with the software. Cubix Corporation is not obligated to repair or replace software under this Limited Warranty.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS WARRANTY, CUBIX MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CUBIX EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
CUBIX CORPORATION’S RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTS AND MALFUNCTIONS OF THE COMPUTER HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR AND/OR REPLACEMENT OF THE FAULTY COMPONENTS, AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. CUBIX IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE CUBIX COMPUTER SYSTEM OR THE FAILURE OF THE COMPUTER TO PERFORM, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Warranty Part Repair Service
To request warranty repair service, contact Cubix Customer Service. Cubix Customer Service will assist the customer in determining if a part needs repair. If warranty repair service is required, Customer Service will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Customers ship the part to the attention of the RMA Number at Cubix at their own cost. Cubix will repair the part and return it to locations within the United States of America freight prepaid. Although Cubix will use a three business day delivery service, Cubix cannot guarantee three business day delivery. Outside of the USA, Cubix will ship parts freight collect. All duties and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
When returning the defective part for warranty repair, the customer is responsible for using adequate packaging, either the packaging included with the original part shipment, or equivalent. The customer must prepay all shipping charges and insure the shipment, or accept the risk of loss or damage during transit. Cubix will not accept any freight collect or COD shipments. The customer must pay any duties, customs fees, taxes or related costs.
UNOPENED HARDWARE RETURNS
Cubix Corporation Return/Refund Policies for online purchases:
All unopened hardware returns:
- Unopened Xpander orders may be returned within 30 days of invoice for a refund (less freight and a 10% restocking fee) or credit to their Cubix account if you have established Net 30 Day terms with Cubix.
- Unopened Xpander orders returned after 30 days from original invoice, but no later than 90 days, are subject to a 25% restocking fee deducted from their refund, in addition to freight charge deduction.
- Unopened Xpander orders cannot receive a refund after 90 days from original invoice.

OPENED HARDWARE RETURNS
Customers have 30 days from date of invoice to return Xpander hardware for a refund (less freight and a 10% restocking fee) to their credit card or credit memo to their Net 30 Day account. Contact Cubix Customer Service: email@example.com or ph +1 (775) 888-1000.
Equipment returned to Cubix for refund or credit during the initial 30 day period must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.
Any Cubix Xpander equipment received by customer in damaged condition must be reported to Cubix Support – firstname.lastname@example.org (or ph +1(775)888-1000) – within 24 hours of equipment delivery to the address specified in the Cubix online order.
Return requests made after 30 days of original invoice, but no later than 90 days, for opened Xpander equipment are subject to a discretionary restocking fee of no less than 25% of the purchase price and no more than 50% of purchase price, depending upon the condition of the returned equipment when received by Cubix Corporation. 3rd party hardware (graphics cards, GPU cards) returns:
NVIDIA graphics cards purchased through Cubix are not eligible for refund.
Cubix will issue RMAs for defective third-party products, under warranty, after approval by Cubix Customer Service.
