LaserBlade Integrates PCI Express Extension Technology

LaserBladesLaserBlades are key components in data center centralization initiatives.

LaserBlades are blade computers that feature the latest Intel® Xeon® and Core™ 2 processor, memory, and network connectivity options.  A consolidated compute platform, LaserBlades provide high rack density, flexible configurations and serviceable connections.

Designed to optimize datacenter space, LaserBlades feature PCI Express (PCIe) bus extenders to deliver 3D graphics applications, CAD, video streams and office applications to remote users at real time speeds over long distances.

Connected to remote desktop LaserCubes via PCIe bus extension, LaserBlades host the application processing, data storage and network port connections in your secure datacenter, while LaserCubes deliver uncompromised 3D graphics and USB 2.0 peripheral performance at your desktops.

LaserBlades also run as standard network servers with some configurations taking less than 1U per blade rack space.  LaserBlades support popular operating systems such as Microsoft® Windows®, Linux, Sun™ Solaris™ and Unix.

LaserBlades are remotely administered through the CubixVision management system.  CubixVision monitors each blade’s fans, temperatures and power conditions. CubixVision also enables authorized network administrators to power up/down and reset LaserBlades remotely.

LaserBlades are available in 6-pack configurations.
