Building video walls with LaserBlades and LaserCubes

Let Cubix help you build low cost video walls.

Video walls consist of three primary elements:

• Cubix multiple displays mounted on a wall

• Cubix LaserBlades driving application output

• Cubix LaserCube-X remote desktop units with multiple high-resolution graphics adapters

Output to the video wall displays and the operator’s displays come from the same host LaserBlade source.

Therefore, the combination of LaserBlade/LaserCube-X is akin to having a single computer with the capability of hosting a dozen graphics outputs. The physical resource limitations found in most computers are not found in the Cubix video wall architecture.

The result is native PC hosting with greatly expanded resources. There is no video compression, no RDP, no latency and no software workarounds—just pure video/audio multiple streamed output.

The most powerful operating aspect of this Cubix solution is that the operator is totally interactive with the displays (in the example below each blade is driving 8 displays) so the operator can drag his mouse/keyboard from Display 1 + 2 on his desk to displays 3 - 8 on the video wall. Also, any of the wall displays can be mirrored to either of the desktop displays.
