USB 3.0 now available in LaserCube desktops

Cubix PCI Express (PCIe) bus extension technology that connects LaserBlades in the data center to LaserCubes at the desktop is uniquely designed to support the fastest peripheral devices over distance, including USB 3.0 peripherals. 

Some remote technologies are bandwidth burdened, offering only USB 1.1 support at the desktops (12Mbits/second).  LaserCubes, however, support USB 2.0 speeds (480Mbits/second) and now feature a USB 3.0 support option at the desktop (4.8Gbits/second) -- for new ultra-fast USB 3.0 peripherals.  

USB 3.0 devices now being sold offer a 10x improvement over USB 2.0 devices.  Cubix’s unique advantage of extending the PCIe bus to the desktop enables LaserCube’s family of products to feature USB 3.0 adapter options to support the fastest high mega-pixel count digital cameras, portable media players, external USB 3.0 desktop and portable storage devices.
