Secure KVM Switch Connects Multiple LaserCubes

If you are planning to use secure KVM switches, you are among the many thousands of users running multiple domains in your environment. Likely you are running separated networks of differing classification levels into each operator location.
For example, a southeast US Army base recently completed a command center project using three LaserCubes at each operator station connected to a secure KVM switch that connected to one set of peripherals on the desktop.
Using multiple LaserCubes with a secure KVM switch at the desktop is a better choice than using multiple PCs with a secure KVM switch in your work area.
The LaserCube contains the graphics and sound cards as well as the keyboard and mouse ports that connect to the secure KVM switch. Each LaserCube connects on a one-to-one basis through the secure KVM switch to a LaserBlade computer in the datacenter.
The LaserBlade computer contains the CPU, memory, hard drive and network connection to the appropriate classified network, no different than the network routing orientation of multiple standalone PCs.
Rather than populate the user areas with noisy, hot, hard to manage, multiple PCs, LaserCubes provide a much better solution:
LaserCube saves money
• Reduce space requirements
• Reduce management and maintenance costs
• Eliminate data security threats
LaserCube increases operator effectiveness
• 3D real-time graphics on as many as 8 displays per operator
• Reduce desktop footprints
• Reduce noise, heat and power consumption
LaserCube provides security advantages at the desktop
• Diskless operation
• No network ports in operator area
• Only graphics adapters, keyboard/mouse, authentication connections, USB 2.0 ports (optional)
• Tamper-proof fiber connections
