LaserCube-A Remote Graphics Engine
LaserCube-A provides the optimum operator environment, saving valuable desktop space and providing a quiet, highly secure thick client solution.
The users’ desktop displays, keyboards, mice and USB 2.0 peripherals are connected to tiny LaserCube-A remote graphics engines that may be separated from the LaserBlade PCs up to a 1000 feet using multimode fiber to over 1 mile using single mode fiber.
LaserBlades that are rack mounted far from the operators contain Core 2 Duo/Quad or Xeon processors, hard drive(s), network connections and memory that run the application programs.
Connecting the LaserCube-A to the LaserBlade is fiber optic cabling that carry PCIe bus control signals. No software, no encryption and no video compression are needed.
LaserBlades run standard Windows and Linux operating systems in standard PC mode with complete application compatibility without modification – if the applications run on a standard PC, they will run on a LaserBlade.
Data is completely secure. Hard drive storage in the LaserBlades reside in your locked data center where the computer elements can be centralized for better management. Tamper-proof, snoop-proof fiber optic cabling connects the LaserCube to the LaserBlade. Only PCIe bus control signals traverse the connection. Cubix’s architecture is JWICs certified as completely secure.
