LaserBlades are highly configurable, so they fit quite well into a variety of data center virtualization projects. If rack density is a high priority, the 4U LaserBlade series allows you to place as many as 8 Quad Core Xeon and/or Core2 Duo blade servers in a 4U rack space – yielding a ½ U per blade server. Unlike other blade servers that only operate on 240v circuits, LaserBlades can be powered on 120v or 240v circuits, allowing network administrators to use whichever type is already installed.
