Dual Xeon LaserBlade uses less than 1U of rack space

LaserBlade LB5

LaserBlades with extremely high, space saving rack density are key components in data center centralization initiatives.

LaserBlades feature the latest Intel® Xeon® and Core™ 2 processor, memory and network connectivity options.  A consolidated compute platform, LaserBlades provide high rack density, flexible configurations and serviceable connections.

Designed to optimize datacenter space, LaserBlades are configured with PCI Express (PCIe) extenders to deliver 3D graphics applications, CAD, video/audio streams and office applications to remote users at real time speeds over long distances.

Connected to remote desktop LaserCubes via PCIe extension, LaserBlades host the application processing, data storage and network port connections in your secure datacenter, while LaserCubes deliver uncompromised 3D graphics, audio and USB 2.0 peripheral performance at your desktops.

LaserBlades are also used as standard network servers with some configurations taking less than 1U per blade rack space.  LaserBlades are compatible with all popular operating systems such as Microsoft® Windows®, Linux, Sun™ Solaris™ and Unix.

LaserBlades are remotely administered through the CubixVision management system.  CubixVision monitors each blade’s fans, temperatures and power conditions, and allows remote power up/down and reset by authorized network administrators.

LaserBlades are available in 6-pack configurations.
