Building Digital Signage with LaserBlades and LaserCubes
LaserBlades beat out all other digital signage players in uptime and flexibility.  Here’s why:

Products
• LaserCube – small box containing only graphics and sound adapters that mounts near display
• LaserBlades – rack mount player with Core 2 Duo (or greater) processor, memory, hard drive and Ethernet
• Displays – LCD panels, singles or multiples, where the message is displayed

Uptime maximized
• Downtime produces huge losses in ad revenue or signage service.  With LaserBlades nested in a rack far from the displays, a hardware problem can be remedied within seconds by moving a single cable from the failed player to a spare player.
• This service can be performed without having to be near the display (and customers).
• For added uptime, the LaserBlade players support RAID1

No noise competition with ad message
• At the display, silent LaserCubes contain only graphics / sound adapters and no noise penalty.
• At the player, you get great graphics and superb application performance.

Unlimited horsepower
• To drive powerful digital signage application loads, LaserBlade players can scale to the fastest processor, largest hard drive, and largest amount of RAM with no detrimental effect on the display environment.  That’s because players are nowhere near the displays!
• Each LaserCube can be configured to drive multiple signage displays, either as a single video wall or as multiple windows and panels.

Better managed
• Instead of being in customer trafficked areas, LaserBlade players are rack mounted in the operations center where they can be serviced easily.
• A hardware management subsystem provides remote monitoring and allows remote power up/down and reset control.

Incredible distance
• LaserCubes and LaserBlades can be separated by as far one mile.

Additional options
• LaserBlades can also be wall-mounted or display mounted in a sleeve for easy serviceability near the displays if desired.
• Multi-monitor configurations can be sourced through Cubix and managed via CubixView multi-monitor utility.
• With multiple display configurations, you will NOT need multiple video extenders.  LaserCubes support multiple headed graphics connections through a single cable run at a fraction of the cost of video extenders.
