Cubix Displays Hot New Products at NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference
Cubix Corporation participated in the September 2009 NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference and successfully displayed three new products. All three products feature as a default or optional feature NVidia® Quadro® FX 3800, 4800 or 5800 graphics controllers.
* LaserCube-Workstation
LaserCube-Workstation is a unit on the operator's desktop that features one or two 3D workstation graphics controllers like the NVidia Quadro FX 3800 but no computer at the operator's desktop. It connects to a host adapter within any computer, but that computer is in the operations room far from the operator's desktop. LaserCube-Workstation supports 3D graphics applications that use openGL or DirectX and puts the power of an an Intel® computer on the operator's desktop--without the computer.
* LaserCube-Desktop
LaserCube-Desktop is a unit on the operator's desktop that features one or two business-class graphics controllers like the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 but no computer at the operator's desktop. It connects to a host adapter within any computer, but that computer is in the operations room far from the operator's desktop. LaserCube-Desktop with a graphics controller provides a stable business graphics environment for the most demanding business applications and puts the power of an Intel computer on the operator's desktop--without the computer.
* LaserCube-IP
LaserCube-IP is a high-performance computing solution using PC-over-IP® technology enabling remote user access to the full performance of a host computer system. LaserCube-IP includes both the desktop device and the PCoIP host adapter for installation in any computer with a free PCI Express (PCIe) slot.
