LaserBlades are highly serviceable managed blade servers, offering unprecedented configuration flexibility. LaserBlades are available in 4U and 8U rack enclosures. Both feature a range of processor options from Core 2 Duo to Quad Core Xeon. The 8U versions feature full length PCI, PCI-X and PCIe adapter support and hot-plug drives. For graphics rendering and backend video processing, LaserBlades support oversized graphics adapters such as NVIDIA GTX and ATI FireGL using 33% less rack space than 2U systems.
For remote desktop and digital signage projects, Cubix has developed LaserCubes that connect to LaserBlades over distances up to 300 meters or more. Quiet, secure, space-saving LaserCubes contain multi-headed high-resolution PCIe graphics adapters and connections for keyboard, mouse and other devices.Capable of supporting intensive graphics environments, LaserCube-X solves the noise, heat, and security problems that computers have in crowded office environments.
For mobile and harsh environment deployments, Cubix’s hardened ToughBlade enclosure features numerous ceiling, floor and front-face stiffening bars that protect the LaserBlades within from bumps and jolts in transport within shock-mounted racks.
